Free AI visibility checker
What does AI say about your brand? We ask the assistants, then show what they answer, who else they name, and where they got it. Free, no account.
- Five buying questions, written for your market from your own website
- Answers from Perplexity, Gemini and Grok, each searching the web
- Who they name instead of you, and the sites they cite
Only 22.8% of brand appearances were recommendations in Cleotic's August 2026 study of 20,152 AI answers about UK brands. Most appearances were a listing, not an endorsement. Read the study
What you get
What the assistants say about you, counted
Your result has its own page, and we email you the link.
Visibility score
How often the assistants named you across the answers, and how high in the answer, as a score out of 100.
Share of voice
Your share of every brand mention in the answers, beside the competitors the assistants named.
Where the answers came from
The sites the assistants cited when they answered, and how many of those were yours.
Questions you were left out of
The questions where a competitor was named and you weren't.
What to do next
Up to three moves drawn from the answers themselves.
A link to share
Send the result to your team. It stays out of search engines.
How it works
Three steps, a few minutes
You give us a website and an email. We do the rest.
We read your homepage
We work out what you sell, who you sell to, and which competitors you're up against.
We ask the assistants
Five questions a buyer would ask, with no brand names in them, put to Perplexity, Gemini and Grok with web search on. Up to 15 answers.
We count and email you
Who got named, in what order, and which sites the answers leaned on. The link arrives by email when it's ready.
Reading your result
What the numbers do and don't tell you
The score is a sample. These three things help you read it.
Named isn't recommended
An assistant can list you fifth, with a caveat. The free check counts mentions. Cleotic also labels each one as recommended, listed or cautioned.
One run is a snapshot
Answers change by day, by model and by how a question is worded. Read the free result as a sample of 15 answers, not a trend.
Sources explain the answers
If the assistants lean on review sites and forums you're missing from, that is usually why a competitor gets named first.
How to improve it
What moves AI visibility
The assistants name brands they can find, read and back up with other sources.
Answer the questions buyers ask
Pages that answer a buying question directly, with prices, specifics and comparisons, are easier for an assistant to quote.
Be on the sites that get cited
Get listed and reviewed on the directories, review sites and publications the assistants cited in your result.
Make your site readable to AI
If AI crawlers are blocked, or your text only appears after JavaScript runs, the assistants can't use it. The AI Readiness Checker tests both.
Say who you are the same way everywhere
One company name, one description, the same profiles linked from your site, and Organization schema on it.

Questions
About the AI Visibility Checker
Anything else, write to support@cleotic.ai.
Is the AI visibility checker free?
Yes. It costs nothing and needs no account. We ask for an email because the check takes a few minutes, and we send the result there.
Which AI assistants does it check?
Perplexity, Gemini and Grok, each with web search on. Cleotic's paid plans track ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Seed, Qwen and Muse Spark, plus Google AI Overviews and AI Mode.
Where do the questions come from?
We read your homepage to work out what you sell and who buys it, then write five questions a buyer might ask: a recommendation, a comparison, a feature question, a problem to solve and a question for your audience. None of them names a brand.
What does the visibility score mean?
Mostly how often the assistants named you across the answers, with some weight for how high in each answer you appeared. Named first in every answer would be 100.
Why does my result say there wasn't enough to score?
If we can't read enough of your homepage, can't find at least two competitors, or too few answers come back, we say so instead of giving you a number built on too little. Checking that AI can read your site is a good next step.
How often can I run it?
Up to three checks an hour for each email address.
What do you do with my email?
We send your result to it. If you tick the box on the form, we also send occasional tips from Cleotic.
How is this different from Cleotic?
The free check is one sample of up to 15 answers. Cleotic asks your own questions every day across ten AI models and search experiences, labels each mention, tracks competitors and sources over time, and helps you create and publish the content that closes the gaps.
